HOW TO SET IDLE AIR STEPS FOR CABLE DRIVE THROTTLE BODYS Car/Truck
With as many calls we get on idle and how to set the idle air control: IAC so we made a video to help. With that here is another great video to help you with setting the Idle Air Control IE: IAC in your cable driven LS vehicle.
A Holley/Fitech/WARR throttle body are all from China- They don't adjust them on a running engine before they send them -
In the video, it says 80 counts - we need to get around 50
Start by turning the throttle body screw 1 full turn, and make sure the blade is clean
Leave the TPS unplugged on first startup, and it should start clean - if it's not clean or struggles, give it another 1/4 turn
then turn the key off - engine off and plug the tps back in and then fire it up and start logging -
