The TSP Gen 5 L83 camshafts are custom designed for applications where the AFM lifters are being removed. By removing the AFM lifters, we are able to run lobes that offer better power and performance. You will have to purchase our TSP DOD Delete Kit for any of our L83 cams, which can be configuredhere.
All TSP Gen 5 L83 camshafts require the use of phaser Lock out kit, which is included in the Cam Package.

It will have a gnarly lope at idle and will require a higher stall speed torque converter for automatics. It does not retain the factory AFM/DOD functionality that deactivates cylinders, so a DOD/AFM delete kit will be needed. We recommend that the VVT be locked out by means of a phaser lockout kit for all of our TSP LT camshafts.

Thanks to the Superflow 902 dyno, Texas Speed is the only company that currently offers a VVT camshaft with a phaser table included to properly tune the camshaft phaser once it's installed in your 2014+ Corvette!
